The Fourth Branch? Introducing Piddington: our special correspondent
While the resident arborist is interested in the serious side of the law, our resident gossip columnist Piddington is more impressed by sites like Underneath Their Robes.
Given his history, Piddington should perhaps be posting at The Fourth Branch, but we all know what happened to that... [the arborist adds: if you don't, see the Wheat Case (NSW v Commonwealth (1915) 20 CLR 54)] Thus, unlike his American mentor, Article III Groupie, Piddington doesn't confine himself to Chapter III judges, or indeed to judges at all.
If you've got interesting titbits about judges and lawyers in Australia (or elsewhere), email Piddington with the details.
